📦 The 7 Wrappers: Ada's Parcel Journey!

Ada wants to send a birthday card from Abuja 🇳🇬 to her cousin Zara in Canada 🇨🇦. Seven helpers each wrap it before it leaves the house — and seven helpers unwrap it at the other end. That's the OSI model. No memorising. Just a family story! 💜

Ada's family post office — everyone has ONE job 🏠

Nobody does everything. Each helper does one small job, then passes the parcel down. Tap each helper to hear their job!

ADA — she writes the words
"Happy birthday Zara! I miss you 💜" — the actual message. The only layer humans see! Your browser, email app, WhatsApp all live here.

Turns the words into a language Zara understands, squeezes big things smaller, and puts it in a secret code so nosy people on the road can't read it. That code = the padlock 🔒!

BIG SISTER — she manages the chat
Calls first: "Are you home? We're sending something!" Keeps the line open until everything arrives, then politely says goodbye. Starting, keeping & ending the conversation.

DAD — he cuts & numbers the boxes
Too big for one box! He cuts it into numbered pieces (1, 2, 3...) so if piece 2 gets lost they can ask for it again. He also writes which room it's for — those room numbers are PORTS! 🚪

VAN DRIVER — he knows only the NEXT stop
Funny thing — he's never heard of Canada! He only knows the very next stop, hands it to the next van, who hands it to the next... all the way there. Each driver only knows their neighbour.
